Support Systems
Coming to Canada is a big process and sometimes it can seem too big. This is why we make it easy for you at every stage and help you settle in. We provide many support services.
Screening and Assessments
Even before you become one of our caregivers, we will help you determine if you are eligible and make sure that you meet all of the Canadian government standards.
File Support
Throughout the placement process, we will provide you with updated checklists regarding the status of your file and help to make it as strong as possible to help place you with Canadian host families. We will also make sure that all of your supporting documents, from record checks to caregiver references are up-to-date and valid before you even go for your visa interview.
Contracts and Immigration Advice
Through the services of our partner immigration law firm, we will ensure that all contracts and forms meet Canadian governmental standards and provide you with the proper documentation from your host family to have the consulate grant you your working visa. If you ultimately chose to get permanent residency in Canada, this immigration law firm will take your case at a reduced price, because you are one of our clients.
Welcome Packages
Upon arriving at your new home in Canada, you will receive a welcome package, including advice for your new placement, information about Canada, as well as instructions on how to make sure you are covered by healthcare and can participate in other universal access privileges right away.
Nanny Events
Every year, Elite Care Canada arranges events for our caregivers to get together, to see more of Canada, and to participate in their communities. This can be anything from a treasure hunt, to an information session, but it is always a great experience our caregivers enjoy and many look back on them with fond memories.
Follow-Ups
Once you have been placed, our agency will follow up repeatedly, to make sure everything is going well with you and your placement. By maintaining regular contact we can help you with questions, concerns, and keep you up to date about any important news or information. Remember, though – we are always here for you, regardless. If you need to speak to us, you do not have to wait for us to call you – our staff is here to take your calls or emails.
